Oh my Gosh! This has been a loooooooooong winter. Starting in November I was communting to LA to do some work with Cal State Fullerton. That lasted about 5 months and ran into the normal work travel I do this time of year. Thank goodness most of that is done now. I have gotten seriously behind on Teresa's remodel projects! We are finishing the trifecta of bathroom remodeling goodness with a redo of the kids bathroom (used to be the laundry room and before that was a porch) .  There are some pics in the gallery.

The GeekMua- ha-ha-ha ! Sorry, just getting into character. I have recently started a mini series on a whole bunch of quirky science experiments. In them I play a mad scientist, Professor Whitzafritz. I have just started, and I am having a blast doing them.

Just to balance out the crazy cat thing we have two dogs named Daphne and Velma. A few years ago we promised Lily a dog for her birthday. When we went to the rescue place they had a Great Pyrenees that caught her eye. When we met her (Daphne) it turned out there was another dog she had grown up with.

Just a short note to say “hi” and update everyone about life at the Judevines in Eureka.

It is a revolving door here.

radio

This an FM radio transmitter I made using an arduino and a NS73M FM Transmitter module NS73M FM Transmitter module on a break out board from sparkfun.com . I got the idea from a article on hack a day, if your interested in building your own you should check out Mike Yancey's page he built the one that made it on hackaday.com and he does a very thorough job of documenting how all the components hook together.
